Using Weak Narrations for Faḍāʾil (Virtues)

The issue of the usage of weak hadith is an issue which has become a point of contention in recent years. Ahlus sunnah for 1200+ years have accepted using weak hadith in Faḍāʾil (Virtues of actions which are already established) for e.g. we know recitation of the Quran is virtuous, a weak hadith informing us of the virtue of reciting the Quran would be acceptable with certain conditions like the hadith must not be extremely weak and must not oppose a sahih hadith.

The following is a list of ulama who explicitly held the opinion that you can use weak hadith in Faḍāʾil or intentionally used weak hadith in their works for Faḍāʾil.
